Some of my favorite Australian’s are back! Give a listen to this new track, “Run” from San Cisco. Upbeat, poppy and definitely a track to get your blood flowing after gorging over Thanksgiving. Will this be the song that breaks them in the US? I sure hope so.
DoYouHearTheMusic.com – Top Tracks of 2013 (well a good amount of them)
2 DecThanksgiving gave me a minute to sit back and have a little fun putting together a Top Tracks of 2013 playlist. This clearly doesn’t include all of the great music that has filtered our ears this year but it is a collection of music that has been on rotation for me in 2013. I tried not to duplicate artists (I could have gone on for days with whole albums from the likes of Vampire Weekend, Cayucas, White Denim, Bastille, etc.) so I hope you like this playlist which should keep you going for hours and perfect for some holiday road trips.
Cheers!
Now Playing: smallpools – “Dreaming”
20 JunIf you haven’t been listening to smallpools yet, you need to stat before they become all the rage on the radio. Alt Nation on SiriusXM even just started giving these guys some spins. I came across these guys when I learned they were going on tour this summer with one of my Australian favs, San Cisco, so if you get a chance to catch this show, don’t miss out! For now, enjoy, play and repeat.
Happy Thursday y’all!

New Music: San Cisco
16 JanFeel free to do the happy dance, it is Music Monday after all! To get the week started heading in the right direction here’s yet another band from down under, San Cisco. The Australian four-piece released their first EP, Golden Revolver, last year with a second EP, Awkward, slated for release on February 7. They fall into the trending indie-pop category but in a very good way will a playful spirit and fun loving harmonies. If you are a fan of GROUPLOVE, Two Door Cinema Club, Vampire Weekend or The Jungle Giants, you’ll definitely be digging this rising young group from Australia.
Here’s the title track off the upcoming EP, “Awkward.”
