Now the lineup has been out for just about a month and taking a step back, what a heater we are in store for! Can’t wait to see all the smiling faces September 20-22! Can’t believe that we are already in mid-November and starting to get into the holiday season. With that said, there is a ton of new music being released and below is a little snip-it to help get you in a groove as we start the countdown to 2018. This morning Bottlerock dropped its 2016 lineup and nice one for Napa Valley. Three big headliners in Stevie Wonder, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Florence + The Machine. The return of The Lumineers will be welcomed along with big names like Death Cab For Cutie, Lenny Kravitz and younger bands like Walk The Moon, Grouplove and Misterwives. Michael Franti is back and is a great show for Bottlerock, Cold War Kids should be received well like Cage The Elephant in 2015 and smaller acts like Houndmouth, X Ambassadors, The Suffers, San Fermin, Coleman Hell, Langhorne Slim, Son Little, etc. Congrats to the Latitude 38 Ent team on another solid lineup for Napa Valley.
This one is special to me and I’ll champion Walk The Moon for as long as I can because they are a great group of guys and their music is fantastic. I only wish for good things to happen to good people. I was a fan of Walk The Moon the first time I ever heard “Anna Sun” and wrote about them on the blog back in May of 2011. I first saw them on the Sonic Bids Stage at Bonnaroo later that year and was enamored with their live show. At the time I was writing concert reviews for Vegas Seven and was asked to start interviewing bands for some upcoming columns. The first ask was to Walk The Moon. I ended up meeting the guys in the Lollapalooza media village where we proceeded to sit Indian style in a circle underneath a tree so I could conduct the interview. It was so bizarre yet worked beautifully. Since those days the guys have exploded and are riding an all time high to stardom and I couldn’t be more excited. They put out as much energy as any band on stage and what they receive from the crowd is tenfold. It’s a sight to witness and on Sunday of Life is Beautiful, I cannot wait to see thousands of screaming fans singing and dancing. Get your face paint ready, pull out your dancing shoes and let’s go!
Party People! If you haven’t already, you better move quick and snatch up your tickets to attend Life is Beautiful 2015, September 25-27 in Downtown Las Vegas. The single day lineups have dropped and while single day tickets go on sale Thursday, look at the below and I can’t find a way for you not to want to attend all three days!

I’m very happy and proud to share with you the 2015 Life is Beautiful Festival lineup! We released the lineup earlier this week and the feedback has been tremendous. I truly hope you like this year’s collection and find both artists you love and artists to discover. While putting together the lineup I usually go a bit silent on DoYouHearTheMusic.com but now I’m ready to unleash a fury of new music for your ears, get some posts up of some of the baby bands on the Life is Beautiful lineup and a whole bunch of other fun things!
Tickets to Life is Beautiful are on sale now! I hope ou pick up a pair and make plans to head to Downtown Las Vegas for what is going to be an amazing weekend of peace, love and music!
