DoYouHearTheMusic.com – Top Tracks of 2013 (well a good amount of them)

2 Dec

Thanksgiving gave me a minute to sit back and have a little fun putting together a Top Tracks of 2013 playlist.  This clearly doesn’t include all of the great music that has filtered our ears this year but it is a collection of music that has been on rotation for me in 2013.   I tried not to duplicate artists (I could have gone on for days with whole albums from the likes of Vampire Weekend, Cayucas, White Denim, Bastille, etc.) so I hope you like this playlist which should keep you going for hours and perfect for some holiday road trips.

Cheers!

DoYouHearTheMusic.com May 2013 Playlist

1 May

Wow this year is FLYING by, I can’t believe it’s already May! With that we get that hot hot heat in Vegas and what better than some new tunes to listen to. This month it’s a mix of some well known groups (so much great music release recently) as well as time to introduce you to some more new acts. I hope you enjoy and find some new favorites along the way.

2013 Lollapalooza Lineup officially out today

1 Apr

If you read the blog last week you’ve already seen who’s playing at Lollapalooza this August but if not, below is the lineup poster.  Should be another solid three days/nights in the Windy City and I have to say, nice to see The Dunwells on here again as their set was washed out in 2012.

2013 Firefly Festival Lineup has arrived

19 Feb

That Festival in Delaware, yeah Firefly has done it again with another solid lineup. From top to bottom fans should be jacked up about this one. Lots and lots of great up and coming bands. This is the week after Bonnaroo (which drops its lineup today too) so expect to see many similar artists.
