DoYouHarTheMusic.com – July Oh My! 2017 playlist

24 Jul

Click play and crank it to 11. I know it’s the end of the month and I have been sitting on this DoYouHearTheMusic.com playlist for sometime but at least the wait allowed for a few more summery gems to wind up on this playlist. Hopefully this mix let’s you listen to some new music from familiar names and discover new tunes from your soon to be favorite artists.

DoYouHearTheMusic.com – Top Tracks of 2013 (well a good amount of them)

2 Dec

Thanksgiving gave me a minute to sit back and have a little fun putting together a Top Tracks of 2013 playlist.  This clearly doesn’t include all of the great music that has filtered our ears this year but it is a collection of music that has been on rotation for me in 2013.   I tried not to duplicate artists (I could have gone on for days with whole albums from the likes of Vampire Weekend, Cayucas, White Denim, Bastille, etc.) so I hope you like this playlist which should keep you going for hours and perfect for some holiday road trips.

Cheers!

Happy Monday! Some music to get your week started in a positive way

6 May

Monday, Monday, Monday! Time to make this a great week and to help get your week started off in a positive way, here’s a playlist to crank up as you work away the day, drive around with the windows down or just to just relax and enjoy the sunshine. Hope you like it and stay positive!

Countdown to Bonnaroo: 7 Days – Artist of the Day: ALO

30 May

I love ALO, plain and simple.  Their live shows are some of the most entertaining rock concerts around and with Zach Gill at the helm; you never know what may happen.  What’s even more exciting for anyone attending Bonnaroo, you will have not one, but THREE chances to see this incredibly talented band!

If you’re a Jack Johnson fan you should already be familiar with ALO and most likely are a big fan like I am.  If you’ve ever heard the song “Girl, I Wanna Lay You Down,” you should do a little more listening to find there are a ton of great songs just like that one from the quartet.  Personally if you are just getting into ALO I suggest listening to Roses & Clover.

April 2011 Playlist

19 Apr

Here is a playlist for April.  I’m going to try and make a new one each month so be on the lookout.  These selections are a mix of the artists I’ve been listening to lately.  Let me know what you like, don’t like, want to hear more of.  Weather is getting nicer out so the need for driving and pool music is a necessity!

Cheers!

NEW: G. Love – Fixin’ to Die

18 Nov

I’m a huge G. Love fan and if you are too this video below will definitely get you amped up for his new album, Fixin’ to Die due out February 22, 2011.  Adding to the spectacular for this blues heavy disc, The Avett Brothers are producing it!

And for all my Denver peeps, make sure you grab Dec. 30 and 31 tickets to see G. Love and Widespread Panic!  Sounds like one heck of a way to ring in the New Year.
