Years ago I was fortunate enough to not only see Vintage Trouble live a handful of times but also able to review one of their shows at Book & Stage for Vegas SEVEN. Fast forward a couple years and here I have booked Vintage Trouble for not one but two shows at Life is Beautiful 2014! The Ty Taylor led outfit will headline the Grills & Guitars kickoff party on Thursday, October 23 and then hit the Western Stage on Friday, October 24 at the festival! If you’ve never seen this band live you are missing out and if you have seen them live, you know these two shows are going to be electric! Hope to see you there!

13 OctHe was our surprise guest performer at the Life is Beautiful 2014 Lineup Party we held in June at Brooklyn Bowl and rocked a packed house for nearly two hours. In less than two weeks the mash-up maestro will bring the party to Downtown Las Vegas and take the stage for what will surely be a memorable set filled with confetti, balloons, streamers and a whole lot of sweaty dancing fanatics! Girl Talk prior to The Weeknd and Kanye West, yes please!! To add a little bit more ammo to this celebration, Girl Talk will also be celebrating his birthday at the festival. P A R T Y ! ! !

Countdown to Life is Beautiful 2014: Dizzy Wright
11 OctLucky 13! Getting closer to Life is Beautiful 2014 and one of the acts I am pumped we were able to add this year is Vegas’ own, Dizzy Wright. The 23 year old rising hip-hop star is poised to be the next musician to break from the neon desert. Anyone who’s see Dizzy live can attest to his on-stage presence but it’s his lyrics that make him a champion. The 2013 XXL Freshman Class honoree raps a positive message and awareness. So far so good because the fans keep lining up to see him and you won’t want to miss his set on Sunday, October 26 on the Ambassador Stage at 3:35 p.m.

If there is one performance you can’t miss, it’s this one. I’ m talking about legendary, one time only performance. In honor of The Beatles’ 50th Anniversary of coming to Las Vegas, I’ve gotten the Las Vegas Philharmonic Orchestra and The Beatles LOVE by Cirque du Soleil to join forces for a 40 minute tribute to the Fab Four. It’s going to break down like this, on Sunday afternoon you are going to want to make your way to the main stage where the Las Vegas Philharmonic Orchestra will perform a 20 minute solo set of Beatles songs before being joined on stage by the cast of LOVE for an incredible performance of acrobatics and dancers meets symphony. Yes you read that correct, this is all going to happen at once, Cirque du Soleil cast members will be flying, Beatles music will be playing and you as a spectators are going to witness an incredible never before seen show.
If I could begin to explain how excited all parties involved are, you wouldn’t believe me. Everyone is pouring their blood, sweat and tears into this performance and I promise you this is going to be legendary.
Me personally, this performance is the coolest thing I’ve ever had the opportunity to work on. And yes, I realize I work for a festival so I’m not joking when I say how amazing this opportunity is. Not only is LOVE my favorite show in Las Vegas, I clearly am a fan of The Beatles, Giles Martin working on the arrangement for this performance is just WOW and the opportunity to work with the Philharmonic is such an incredible one (these musicians are uber talented and hearing them in rehearsals gave me chills); this magical in so many ways.

Seriously I can’t believe The Preatures are going to be performing at Life is Beautiful. If you knew what was good for your music loving soul, you’ll make sure you get to check them out at the festival. These rocking Aussie’s burst onto the scene in 2013 with their hit single “Is This How You Feel” and just last week released their debut album, Blue Planet Eyes. Definitely make a point to get down with some 80s/90s pop-rock from today!

I’m not sure there are too many other acts who have been thrust into the spotlight in 2014 as much as Echosmith. These “Cool Kids” are everywhere right now, are currently on tour with American Authors and are being tabbed my many publications and outlets as the artist to watch. All of it well deserved and I couldn’t be more excited for this group of siblings. These kids have such a positive outlook on life and totally embody Life is Beautiful. We’re pumped to have them on the lineup and can’t wait for their performance on Friday, October 24.
