Thank you T Bone Burnett! Thanks to the legendary musician, songwriter, and producer, this amazing supergroup of Elvis Costello, Jim James, Marcus Mumford, Rhiannon Giddens and Taylor Goldsmith T Bone Burnett, was put together to record (and now perform!) unused Bob Dylan lyrics written during the original Basement Tapes sessions. A couple nights ago this supergroup took to the stage on Jimmy Kimmel Live and now tonight on Showtime the documentary Lost Songs: The Basement Tapes Continued airs! The documentary goes behind the scenes with the talented songwriters listed above as they record their interpretations of lost and now found lyrics from Bob Dylan’s legendary Basement Tapes Sessions!
