Ah yes, the buzz about bands that lit up SXSW has begun flooding the internet. Glad to have read on numerous sites/blogs that two bands we have been high about for some time, Alabama Shakes and The Lumineers, rocked it down in Texas and since I didn’t have the chance to make it this year, I’m going to be bringing you a recount from a buddy who was on the ground last week.
But in the meantime, thanks to a little appearance on CNN over the weekend (they had a big time setup on site), I’m pushing my hand towards another Louisiana group to make some noise this year (last year was GIVERS), Royal Teeth. If seeing them perform on television was enough to convince me, listening to their Act Naturally EP gave me more reason to give some additional spins.
