Another band from across the pond that has grabbed my attention is To Kill A King. There is not much to go off of right now but the folk-rock quintuplet from London do have a single out, “Fictional State.” Give a listen.

Video: Pink Floyd Reunite at Roger Waters Show in London
12 MayI remember reading a recent article in Rolling Stone with Roger Waters and talking about the possibility of getting the band back together and well, it happened tonight in London (only the second time in 30 years!)! Via Rolling Stone read THIS and watch below where David Gilmour joined Roger Waters on stage to perform “Comfortably Numb.” Nick Mason and Gilmour joined Waters for the finale.
New Music: The Vaccines
9 FebBig shout out to my friend Paddy for the tip to check out The Vaccines. The London rockers having just formed in 2010 are sitting on the bubble of stardom and their most recent track “Post Break Up Sex” is climbing the charts in the UK and only a matter of time before they stake claim in the US. The quartet is slated to release their debut album What Did You Expect From The Vaccines? on March 21.

27 AugLooks like you’ll want to book a trip to London between September 15-26 as according to Uncut, Jimi Hendrix’s central London flat will be open to the public as part of the Hendrix in Britain exhibition honoring the 40th anniversary of his death. The exhibition which is located in the same building runs through November 7 but the flat will only be open during the dates listed above.
