Pussy Riot is Coming to Life is Beautiful 2014!
16 SepPussy Riot received international attention after being imprisoned for two years in their home country of Russia, following a performance in 2012. After their release in December of last year, both Nadya Tolokonnikova and Masha Alekhina have been on a mission to raise awareness for those who have been deprived of liberty in camps and prisons around the world. Joining the speaker lineup on Friday, October 24th the feminist punk art collective will discuss their experiences and efforts related to their incarceration, their music, feminism, LGBT rights, anti-authoritarianism and their foundation Zona Prova (Zone of Rights).
