I was a fan of the Swedish Sisters who make up First Aid Kit since the moment I heard their second album, The Lion’s Roar, became even a bigger fan when I saw them live for the first time and seeing them again this year at Bonnaroo, they were one of my favorite acts at the festival. Needless to say I’m hooked on these girls and after hearing this cover of Jack White’s “Love Interruption” which they performed on Australia’s triple j radio, I am even more in awe of thems. Listen below. Just WOW.

WOW! @AsgeirMusic covers @MilkyChance “Stolen Dance”

1. To me, Asgeir is a star in the making. This Icelandic singer-songwriter is absolutely brilliant. He has an incredible voice, beautiful songs and is flawless live.

2. Milky Chance’s song “Stolen Dance” is easily one of my favorite songs of 2014. Quite frankly I’ve fallen in love with the track and listen to it on repeat.

3. Asgeir just covered “Stolen Dance” for triple j and the segment “Like A Version.” Give a listen below and hear for yourself.

Now Playing CHVRCHES – “Falling” (HAIM Cover) – WOW WOW WOW

First song you should listen to this morning is this ridiculous cover of HAIM’s “Falling” by Chvrches. If you’re a fan of Chvrches you know how soft and sweet Lauren Mayberry’s vocals are which stand out in this track with the band’s electro beats, making this an instant hit. Now perhaps HAIM want to give their try at “Recover” in the near future?!

Coldplay pays tribute to Adam Yauch/MCA “Fight For Your Right” (Video)

Mad props to Chris Martin and Coldplay for a sweet rendition of “Fight For Your Right,” last night, May 4 at their Hollywood Bowl Show in California in tribute to the passing of Adam Yauch/MCA.
