Back in May I couldn’t get enough of his “Raise Your Weapon” remix, in July he dropped his “Pop Culture’ mash-up and now comes Part 1 of a trailer he uploaded a little over a week ago. Let the legend of Madeon continue to grow.
Set your DVR so you don’t miss Foster The People performing this weekend on Saturday Night Live! Ben Stiller is hosting so it should be a great show all around.
Two things to note. Watch the preview video below and you’ll learn that FTP will be performing “Houdini” and there will be a special guest joining the band tomorrow night.
If you follow the blog you know I am a huge fan of GROUPLOVE and I wanted to share the official video for “Lovely Cup” which is my favorite song off Never Trust A Happy Song. Love that the video showcases the band during an array of gigs to capture the energy and excitment they bring to each and every show.
Hands down one of the best marching band performances I have seen. Love that the Ohio University Marching Band performed their rendition of LMFAO’s “Party Rock Anthem” at halftime of the recent football game. Genius and entertaining!
Check it out, “Shake It Out” the second track released from Florence + the Machine’s upcoming album Ceremonials slated for a November 1 release. More words and information HERE via Spin Magazine including a comparison of the video to Stanley Kubrick’s Eyes Wide Shut.
Awww yeah, looking forward to an exciting night ahead as Furthur rolls into town for what will be a fun filled evening of music at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel. After jamming Red Rocks in Colorado for three nights last week, we shall soon see what the fellas have up their sleeves for tonight’s shindig. It has been a little over a year since Furthur last graced the stage at The Joint and if it’s anything like that show, tonight should be another special one. Curtain goes up at 8 p.m.
Music Monday and what a glorious way to kick start the start the week with a little Mumford & Sons. The fellas recorded an Austin City Limits special that aired on PBS last night and if you missed it, you’re in luck as you can watch it below!
Hands down one of the best music programs on TV, Austin City Limits continues to broadcast amazing performances by talented musicians. Give a visit to the website and catch some of the other recent performances on the program.
Happy Birthday to The Boss who turns 62 today. Jersey Pride running wild today!
All I could think while watching the online stream of Young The Giant performing at ACL was, damn I wish I was there. Wow, what a performance and crowd for the now it rockers. Big congrats to them for making it big and drawing an insanely huge crowd that now knows how much fun their live shows are. I’ve been lucky to see them in an intimate setting (Book & Stage at Cosmopolitan in Vegas) and a massive setting (main stage at Lollapalooza) and both have been solid, energetic shows. Now I just can’t wait until the next time I get to see them live.
If you missed the online stream, check out this video of YTG performing “My Body.”
