24 AugJust in time for Life is Beautiful 2016, Empire of the Sun have premiered a new track, “High and Low” off the forthcoming album, Two Vines, due out October 28. More words HERE from NME but the album is going to feature some music heavyweights including Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham, Wendy Melvoin (from Prince’s band The Revolution), and pianist Henry Hey and bassist Tim Lefebvre, both members of David Bowie’s ‘Blackstar’ band.

7 JunBeen slacking on my music posts of late but hopefully I still have some time to redeem myself and I’m starting with “No Matter Where We Go” from Whitney. The Chicago band formed by Max Kakacek after his last band, Smith Westerns, broke up just released their debut album, Light Upon The Lake, on June 3 and it’s a gem. Hope you like it as much as I do. And if you see Whitney coming to a venue or festival near you, do yourself a favor and go see them live!
