I know it’s after Christmas but I heard Paul Simon’s new song “Getting Ready For Christmas Day” a couple times yesterday thought I’d share for those who haven’t heard it yet. While the title at first look and listen makes you think of celebrations, the truth is the song is about his Nephew and our troops fighting overseas during the holidays to protect our country. Please don’t forget during these happier times spent with family and friends the many men and women putting their lives on the line for us.
Paul Simon’s new album is due out in Spring 2011, can’t wait.
