Happy Thursday y’all! It may be winter still but if this song doesn’t get you in the mood for sunshine and warm weather, I don’t know what to tell you. Click play, listen, smile and daydream!
Last night Justin Timberlake dropped his first track in six years, “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay-Z which will be on his new album The 20/20 Experience out sometime this year.
Just before 2012 ended I had the opportunity to see The Black Keys in concert, yet again. This time at The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel on New Year’s Eve weekend. Check out my review of night one which ran in the most recent issue of Vegas SEVEN.
For the record, I’ll never pass on a chance to see The Black Keys in concert. Each show may be very similar in comparison but seeing them in front of 80,000 screaming fans or 400, they sound just as good and you never leave disappointed.
Counting down the final hours of 2012 and boy oh boy what a NYE weekend it has been so far. Friday and Saturday were all about The Killers for me. They delivered two amazing concerts over at The Cosmopolitan to wrap up their current North American tour. The band, the crowd, the room, the energy, it all came together and for two nights was an incredible display of rock and roll. I can’t wait to see them live again.
Last night it was over to the Hard Rock Hotel to catch The Black Keys on the first of their two nights of shows in Vegas. It was gritty rock and roll as expected and always fun to see the duo live. Be on the lookout for my review of the show in Vegas SEVEN next week.
