It’s definitely a big Roots music week for me after getting the chance to walk them down the red carpet at Miss Universe on Monday and now I must give mad props to Paste Magazine for putting together an outstanding piece, “The Roots’ 10 Best Moments on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” Heck The Roots are the reason why I started watching the show and now I’m also a fan of Jimmy Fallon. Also if you can find it, DJ Heat had put together a mix CD titled Late Night with The Roots which took some of the best performances to date from the show. A must have which includes performances by The Roots with the Beastie Boys, Mos Def, Ludacris, Wale, Black Star, Public Enemy, 50 Cent and more.
