14 Apr

Yip! Get a listen to this gem, “Linda James” by Nicholas Jamerson and The Morning Jays! This one should tug right at your heart and soul. Enjoy the tune, and drop it into your next playlist. How beautifully said, “be thankful for each and every day you get to see the sunrise!”

NEW MUSIC: THE WAR ON DRUGS – “LIVNG PROOF”

19 Jul

Obsessed is the only word I can use to describe my love for “Living Proof,” the new track by The War On Drugs. Its new album  I Don’t Live Here Anymore, is out October 29.

The music video, directed by filmmaker Emmett Malloy was shot on 16mm film at the Panoramic studio in Stinson Beach, California. More words from Pitchfork can be found here. However for me personally to see Emmett Malloy as the director of this video makes it just a masterpiece in my eyes. I was first turned on to the Malloy Brothers from Jack Johnson’s Thicker Than Water documentary back in 2000 and in the last 21 years, Emmett Malloy has established quite the directing catalog.

Now back to TWOD and excited to hear new music, to know the album is coming and for what a yea 2022 is lining up to be; Living Proof!
